Q14: What can I do to protect my self against spam and the viruses/worms they may be carrying.?
A14: In order to protect yourself against malicious emails, set your email client to block automatic download of HTML objects. Even if the email appears to be from a trusted source do not open any attatchments unless you know ahead of time the content of the attachment. If you do not know the content ahead of time, prior to opening any attachment ask the sender for an explanation. Also make sure you have a virus protection installed on your system that is up to date and visit windowsupdate.com regularly (several times a month).
