IP Header Checksum Calculator

Simple IP Header Checksum calculator that when given all the IP header info (Type of Service, Packet Length, Packet ID, Flags and Fragment offset, Time to Live, Protocol ID, Source and Destination IP) it will calculate what the header checksum should be. In this version all data needs to be provided as hex values, except for the IP addresses which can be provided either as standard dotted decimal format (i.e. 172.16.25.13) or in hex format. When providing the IP in hex make sure there are no punctuation or spaces.

Requirements

Only tested on Windows 7, other windows version may work. If you don't have these required Microsoft Windows components installed they will be installed as part of the installation.
  • Windows Installer 3.1
  • .NET Framework 3.5 (Requires reboot before installation can be completed)
  • Internet connection (Current version does the installation via the internet)
